Intro:
This is one of those blankets that just makes me smile. I’ve always wanted a sunflower blanket but wasn’t in love with the way sunflowers were traditionally crocheted. My goal was to create a sunflower that looks perfectly imperfect (the way nature intended), while being simple to crochet and work up quickly. So without further adieu- The Autumn Sunflower Blanket Pattern, by yours truly. I hope you love it as much as I do. :)
**Don’t forget this patterns sister—the Autumn Sunflower Pillow Pattern which matches this blanket perfectly and can be found here.

Pattern Notes
Gauge is important! If squares are larger than 4.5” inches, you will require more yarn.
Please adjust hook size to meet gauge of pattern.
Ch 2 counts as DC throughout pattern.
Ch 3 counts as tr throughout pattern.
In some cases, the video tutorials have been used for other patterns. Please follow the yarn recommendations, hook size and stitch counts in the written pattern- the videos are only meant as visual guides.
The Colour Legend is my attempt to provide you with colour accurate photos for you to use if you’d like to find an alternative yarn.
Blanket is constructed with CJAYG; where each sunflower square is joined to the next while working an additional border around each motif. If you’d like to join a different way-you may require more yarn.
Don’t forget to share your makes on Instagram and Facebook! I always love seeing what you have all worked up. Tag me on Instagram @nautikrallcrochet or Facebook @nautikrall_crochet, or use the hashtag: #autumnsunflowerblanket
