Intro:

I needed a win. I needed a project that used some of my gorgeous hand dyed yarn (that I collect but never seem to use!?!)— I wanted to make something, complete it and squish it-quickly. So my LOVE puff pillow was borm.

I had just come off of 3 blankets in January, a temperature blanket I had started and re-started 3 times, a new sweater wip that required my full time attention and wasn’t receiving and my first collab with Ravenswood Fibre Co. What a month! As I sat down to get started on my next blanket (and pattern collab)— I thought “Oh my. I need something for me.”

Of course, once I got started I thought—I need to share this!!! So here we are. I hope you love everything about it-I hope you dive into your gorgeous stash of yarns—I hope you love each satisfying mini puff stitch granny and I hope you end up with a squishy, colourful addition to your home. Happy Valentines!

    Panel 1 (LOVE): 216g of Colour A, 65g of Colour B.

Panel 2 (Granny Square): 49g of Colour A, 10g of Colour B, Colours C-F are all listed above and only used on this panel-so the quantities are the same.

  • Each mini puff stitch granny square consists of 1 round and measures 1.25” inches across.

  • This pillow is made up of 2 panels that are single crocheted-or seamed together to finish.

  • Each panel measures approximately 18” square.

  • Gauge will affect yarn quantities and measurements. If gauge is not met-your panels will not fit the pillow. This pattern uses a thinner worsted weight yarn.
