Coastline Hexie Blanket Pattern x Terracotta Collection by Hue Loco Yarn
The original version of the Coastline Sunburst Hexie Blanket Pattern was all about sandy coastlines and sun dried driftwood. This version though; earthy, windswept and sun-kissed is the vibe. I’m loving this palette from Hue Loco Yarn. The Terracotta Collection is perfect for summer and home decor projects.
I truly hope you enjoy this relaxing make. With a wonderfully curated selection of colours, no colour changes and motifs that are packable—this project promises to be the bring-a-long staple. Join them all up later with a continuous join as you go for hexagons and you’ve got yourself the perfect project to relax with this summer. Happy Crocheting :)

Island Time Baby Blanket Pattern
It’s bright, it’s colourful, it’s made with dreamy yarn…
Just like the original Island Time Blanket Pattern, but baby sized. I used Comfy Worsted from WeCrochet to work up this baby blanket pattern and absolutely love it. It’s a cotton/acrylic blend that is oh-so soft and easy to care for. Happy crocheting!!

Coastline Sunburst Hexie Baby Blanket Pattern
I truly hope you enjoy this relaxing make. It’s based on the original Coastline Sunburst Hexie Blanket Pattern I released last year-but with a twist! I’ve included half hexies for the top and bottom of the blanket for a really finished look.
With a smaller selection of colours, no colour changes and motifs that are packable—this project promises to be the bring-a-long staple. Join them all up later with a continuous join as you go for hexagons and you’ve got yourself the perfect project to ring in the summer with. Happy Crocheting :)

Hygge Burst Hexie Blanket Pattern x Geode Collection by Hue Loco Yarn
The original Hygge Burst Hexie Blanket Pattern encompasses all the warmth, coziness and happiness that you can get from a blanket. I wanted the same feeling with this pattern—but brighter and fun for spring and summer. This particular collection is extra special to me. I love the Geode theme and the colours are absolutely gorgeous. They’re bright, pastel colours but with warm undertones that are perfectly wearable and make beautiful home accessories. Because of this, I chose to join my blanket with a brownish-grey colour that really brings out the earthy qualities of this collection.
I hope you love it! Happy crocheting everyone :)

Island Time Scarf -Free Crochet Pattern
When I started thinking about making another Island Time Shawl….I knew I wanted it to be a bit smaller (and more wearable with a heavy winter coat), solid coloured and well….I quickly realized I didn’t want a shawl. What I wanted, was a scarf! Hence, the last free pattern of the year: The Island Time Scarf Pattern. It’s wide enough for full coverage, long enough to wrap twice, and finished off with the sweetest triangular bottom and pom. It’s all about the details :) I chose to make mine monochrome—but the colour options are endless. It’s definitely a pattern I’ll be coming back to again and again.
So, grab your favourite DK weight yarn and lets get started!!

Special Edition Autumn Coastline Sunburst Hexie Blanket Pattern
The weather’s starting to turn in my part of the world and that means I’m totally ready to be snuggled up in a blanket, making blankets and buying ALL THE YARN. While I love the original Coastline Sunburst Hexie Blanket Pattern— this super chunky version has my heart singing! Just like last years Special Edition Island Time Blanket, this one is quick to work up-the colour combinations are endless, and the result is a giant blanket my entire family can curl up under. Movie night…here we come :)
Because of the success and love for last years Special Edition Blankets; Steph (@thecreativeknitter) and I decided that this blanket needed to be a crochet-a-long (CAL). Island Time Blanket Pattern x Scenic Route Collection by Hue Loco
It’s bright, it’s colorful, it’s made with dreamy yarn….
When I opened up the Scenic Route Collection from Hue Loco I knew I wanted to make it into another Island Time Blanket Pattern. I just love the cool tones of this collection-it’s quite the departure from their usual style and I’m here for it! This collection screams “made for Mallory” because I absolutely love every colour in it. Blues and Greens are my favourite and I couldn’t be happier with the way this blanket turned out :)
For the border on this one—I wanted to keep the attention and focus on the beautiful colours of the motifs with this yarn—so I went with a really straight forward and classic single crochet border with picot edging. It cleans up the border beautifully while still remaining delicate and delightful. I hope you love it.
Happy Crocheting Everyone :)
Summer Fade Hexie Blanket Pattern x Farmers Market Collection by Hue Loco Yarn
Hue Loco has another stunning Collection coming out and I’m making a pattern for it!! The Farmers Market Collection is open for Pre-Order June 16th at 8 MST.
Hygge Burst Hexie Blanket Pattern
Hygge (pronouced “Hue-guh”) is a Scandinavian word meaning everything that is cozy, happy, special, warm and nice. It’s used as a noun, a verb and an adjective! I fell in love with the idea of hygge after reading The Little Book of Hygge: The Danish Way to Live Well by Meik Wiking.
The original Hygge Burst Blanket Pattern encompasses all the warmth, coziness and happiness that you can get from a blanket. I wanted the same feeling with this pattern—but brighter and fun for summer (hellloooooo neon tweed!!) Rest assured, this won’t be the last colour combo I put together for this blanket. It was a blast to make and I absolutely cannot wait to put together a colour scheme using Wool of the Andes Tweed for autumn :)
For now thought, I hope you’re all loving the light-hearted colour combos of these Hexagons. Happy crocheting everyone :)

Summer Stripes Sunburst Blanket Pattern
When hot, summer, beach days turn to cool, bonfire nights; the summer stripes throw is the go-to bring along to cozy up in. Perfectly packable for your weekend getaways. Add a pom-pom border and you have the hottest blanket this summer.
Coastline Sunburst Hexie Blanket Pattern
We’re coming up on summer and this project is worthy of sandy coastlines and sun dried driftwood. I gravitated towards these colours because I’m craving all the beach vibes right now—living in the midst of some of the biggest lakes in the world means I’m surrounded by water (literally!) and it’s apart of my soul. For those who know me or who’ve been following from the beginning…you know that I’m a lover of the water and sailing. This blanket (and the next few patterns to follow) will be indicative of just that. Earthy, beachy, sun-kissed with just a hint of sparkling water.
I truly hope you enjoy this relaxing make. With a smaller selection of colours, no colour changes and motifs that are packable—this project promises to be the bring-a-long staple. Join them all up later with a continuous join as you go for hexagons and you’ve got yourself the perfect project to ring in the summer with. Happy Crocheting :)

The Winters are grey here in Canada-but not from where I’m sitting! A blanket so cheerful it’s bound to remind you of tropical getaways and warmer, sunnier days ahead….
